Data Analyst

You would be the person who turns a vague question into a clear answer, and who notices the thing nobody thought to ask about.

In a company this size that is a high-leverage job: the analysis usually reaches the decision directly, without a layer in between.

The work

What you would do:

• Answer product, growth and commercial questions with data
• Build and maintain dashboards people actually use
• Analyse experiments and report the results honestly
• Investigate anomalies in usage or revenue
• Make analysis self-serve where that makes sense

What we are looking for

Three or more years in analytics with strong SQL and comfort in a BI tool, plus statistical literacy — especially around experiments.

The ability to tell a clear story from a messy dataset, and curiosity that goes past the question as asked.

Where you work

This one is fully remote. We care where you are only insofar as the law does: you need the right to work in the UK or the US already, because there is no office attached to this job for us to sponsor you into. Beyond that, work from wherever you work best.

We overlap a few hours a day and write the rest down. Most decisions live in documents and pull requests rather than meetings, which is partly a philosophy and mostly a consequence of being spread across time zones.

Pay and the rest of it

$70,000–$100,000 a year, reviewed every year against the market for where you live, plus share options — everyone here owns a piece of the company.
