Cookie Policy

Last modified: May 6, 2026

This page explains how Aviy uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) on aviy.ai and our mobile apps, what each category does, and how you can change your mind at any time.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies let a site recognise your browser between page loads (so you stay signed in) and remember preferences. We also use local storage- a similar mechanism that keeps data on your device but isn’t sent back to the server with every request. The same consent rules apply to both.

2. How we group cookies

Aviy groups cookies into three categories:

  • Essential - needed for the site to work as expected.
  • Analytics - help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Marketing - help us reach you with relevant content and improve our outreach.

3. What each category does

Essential

  • Keep you signed in and tied to your account.
  • Protect sign-in and form submissions from abuse.
  • Remember your cookie preferences so we don’t re-ask on every visit.

Analytics

  • Help us see which pages are visited and how visitors arrive, in aggregate, so we can improve the product.
  • May involve third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies.

Marketing

  • Support customer-facing features such as live chat.
  • Help us measure how our outreach reaches you and improve it.
  • May involve third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies.

Granular details - including specific cookie names, retention periods, and processors - are available on request from dpo@aviy.ai for users exercising their data-protection rights.

4. Changing your mind

You can change your cookie choices any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page, or via the link at the top of this policy.

Any cookies already stored in your browser remain there until they expire or you clear them; you can delete them from your browser settings at any time.

5. Mobile apps

Our mobile apps don’t use browser cookies. They store the minimum information needed to keep you signed in and to deliver notifications you’ve opted into. Subscription state is managed by the relevant app store.

6. Browser privacy signals

We honour modern browser-level privacy signals where applicable. If your browser advertises a Global Privacy Control preference, we treat it as an opt-out for optional cookie categories.

7. Questions

Email dpo@aviy.ai with any questions about this policy or to exercise your data-protection rights (access, deletion, portability - detailed in our Data Privacy Policy).
