Accept payments with USDT (TRC20)
To accept USDT on your Aviy invoices, you set up a wallet that supports TRC20 (Tron network) USDT, add your deposit address to your payment details in Aviy so it shows on the payment page of every invoice link, and confirm each payment when it arrives. USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, transfers settle in minutes for cents in fees, and it works from any country - no payment-provider account or approval needed.

Choose where to receive USDT
Easiest: an exchange account (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken…) - it custodies the wallet and lets you convert USDT to local currency. Alternatively use a self-custody wallet like Trust Wallet, TronLink, or a hardware wallet if you prefer holding your own keys.

Find your TRC20 deposit address
On an exchange: Deposit → USDT → network TRC20 (Tron) → copy the address. In a wallet app: receive → USDT (TRON). The address starts with "T". Double-check the network is TRC20 - USDT also exists on other networks with different addresses.

Test it once
Before putting the address on invoices, send yourself a small amount (or have a friend send $1) to confirm the address and network are right. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed.

Add the address to your payment details
In Aviy, open Dashboard → Payments → Bank Transfer and add your USDT address as a payment method (e.g. name it "USDT (TRC20)" with the address in the account field), or include it in your payment notes. It then shows on the payment page of every invoice link you share.

Client pays and marks paid
Your client sends USDT to your address from any wallet or exchange, then taps "Mark Paid" on the invoice link. You get a notification in Aviy.

Confirm receipt
Check your wallet or exchange for the deposit (TRC20 transfers usually land in under a minute), then confirm the payment in Aviy - the invoice is marked paid and your records stay clean.
Frequently asked questions
Why TRC20 and not another network?
TRC20 (Tron) has the lowest fees for USDT transfers - typically a few cents - and near-instant settlement, which is why it’s the default for invoice payments. Just make sure both sides use the same network.
Is USDT stable?
USDT is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and is the most widely traded stablecoin in the world. Its price stays at ~$1, unlike Bitcoin or Ether.
How do I turn USDT into my local currency?
On an exchange, sell USDT for your currency and withdraw to your bank - or use a local P2P market. Many businesses simply hold USDT as a dollar balance.
What are the fees?
The sender pays the network fee (a few cents on TRC20). Aviy charges nothing. Exchanges may charge a small withdrawal fee when you cash out.
